Richard brings over 14 years of extensive Fire Safety experience, gained through both the private sector and Local Government.
He spent 11 years in the Fire Rescue Service, where he concluded his career as a manager in the Business (Technical) Fire Safety department, overseeing audits of Fire Risk Assessments and ensuring compliance across various building types.
Richard is also a skilled trainer in the fire safety field, covering essential topics such as the Responsible Person, Fire Doors, Fire Dampers, and Compartmentation, while conducting Fire Risk Assessments for both independent projects and a prominent global organisation.
His expertise spans commercial and residential environments, including offices, manufacturing, industrial sites, multi-occupancy buildings, sports venues, HMP properties, and the Blue Light sectors.
